iOS 9

iOS 9, codenamed Monarch, is Apple's next-generation mobile operating system. It was announced at WWDC 2015 at Moscone Center in San Francisco on June 8, 2015. It includes a more intelligent Spotlight, more proactive Siri, a new News app, an updated Notes app, transit directions in Maps, a renamed Wallet app with store and loyalty cards, tether-less CarPlay, and slide-over and split-screen modes for iPad.

Application not much has changed from ios 9, but only the addition of features and applications. applications encompasses News, Notes, Maps, Wallet, and CarPlay.

multitasking For the first time in iOS 9, Apple introduced multitasking features specifically for the iPad device. With this feature, you can use two applications running simultaneously on a single screen easily without leaving the application you have opened before. Interestingly, this Multitasking feature supports Split View Special iPad Air 2 and Picture in Picture feature where you watch videos while replying to an email.
